Leadership Now
God morning to everyone. It’s October now. Fall is in the air and with it comes excitement. Everyone is settled into new routines and there is a lot to look forward too. Personally things are very exciting as I am in a new phase of learning in my life. I am taking classes for work and I am taking classes for myself. Both are designed to help me become a better leader. A leader for God, for my family, for myself and for my work.
The world today is really needing quality leaders. People are looking for someone to follow, someone they can put their trust in. The question is, “Will you be that person?” When I ask this to myself, I have to answer, yes. I want to lead my family and others and have influence to improve who they are and what they are exposed to. Don’t you? Don’t you want the best that life has to offer your family and friends? I believe we all do.
Well, who is going to show them this? Why not take it upon yourself to be that leader and show them? Working on yourself and your leadership skills is necessary. While you don’t have to go to the extreme of taking a bunch of classes, just start reading about leadership a little each day. There are tons of great books out there to read that will help you. I am working on a page for my blog that will list books that I have read and would suggest, as well as, books that I am wanting to read or intend to read soon.
I will get this page up and published as soon as I can, but in the mean time, pick up a book and start working on your leadership skills. (Oh and keep checking back to see when the page is finished.)
